And it was awesome! First time off-roading and first time ever driving anything like that! It’s my friend’s dad’s and he basically said, go for it since we are at their ranch. I loved every second of it and can’t wait till I get to do it again tomorrow!

There’s something pretty damn cool about using a vehicle that was designed for a specific purpose for exactly that purpose.

Unless it’s a Prius....
But something like this, hell yeah!!!

True. A Prius is way more fun when you use it for pretty much opposite its intended purpose.
(I kinda love hooning shitty econoboxes, though.)

When my Infiniti QX4 was alive, I recall the only off roading I did was in a dirt lot, with lots of lots of donuts and dirt drifts. FUN

Hooning anything is fun at least to some degree!

I got the Bronco just a tad bit sideways. More tomorrow I think:)
I scared the crap out of the three friends that were riding with me though, which was fun

You ain’t off-roaded until you high cener it and have to figure out how to get it off. Try it. Fun.... Most of the time.

You got the bug now, kid. What kind of terrain we talkin?

Kinda hilly, grassy, dry. it’s not rocky, but there’s a lot of brush(including mesquite which we have to avoid) and some woods
Near-ish to Waco, TX if that helps

A couple of hours ago I was driving it through some serious terrain and wooded areas. First time in the area and it was pitch black. Good thing I had a co-driver haha. Only problem is I had four other people screaming cause they were getting all freaked out since it was dark and I kept putting my foot down once I got to a clear area!

I got stuck in the desert in the dark once. It was super sketch. The next time I touched a computer I ordered a set of KC Daylighters and a grille guard to mount them on.

Ooh, that sucks. We had just gotten done with some sketchy hiking(super dark and olny one person of 11 really knew the terrain, tons of brush, bugs like you wouldn’t believe and lots of coyotes howling)and we were heading back to the house and I had my friend(his family’s land)point me in the most difficult direction for the drive back. There were a few points where I thought we were going to get stuck but I threaded the needle pretty well and got through it
